Which Radio Does Your 2010-2014 Legacy or Outback Have? Pick It Below
The 2010-2014 Legacy and Outback came with FOUR different factory radio setups, and the wiring is different for each. Trim names will not tell you which one you have - but the radio's face will. Click the picture that matches your dash:

3. Keep your console USB port:
4. AM/FM antenna adapter - these cars use a larger antenna plug than other Subarus, so you need this specific adapter:
Have a backup camera? On these radios it displays on the rear-view mirror and keeps working as-is - no adapter needed. Full details on the 20-pin install page.
Color display screen, no navigation - the premium/amplified setup
Your car has a factory amplifier (the radio face will NOT say Harman Kardon, but the amp is there). The install uses the 10-pin/6-pin adapter set with the amplifier switched through pin 3 of the 28-pin connector - we recommend RCA connections to feed the amp, and we build the amplifier harness set per order. Email us your model, year, and new headunit for the complete quote (more detail on the amplified Legacy/Outback page).
You can order these standard pieces now - they are part of the kit either way:
DVD Navigation flip screen (2010-2012) - the custom one
These use a 20-pin main connector plus a 24-pin amplifier connector, a separate backup camera connector, and another connector for the reverse signal. The full harness set is a custom build we make regularly - email us your model, year, and new headunit for the complete quote.
You can order the antenna adapter now - these cars use the extended 18-inch adapter:
harman/kardon Navigation flip screen (2013-2014) - the standard nav kit
1. Backup camera / steering wheel control adapter - replaces the 28-pin and 16-pin connections and provides the backup camera video, steering wheel signals, and reverse signal to your new headunit:
2. Main harness - pick the version that matches your NEW headunit (all other brands use the Metra 70-1761, sold on the navigation page):

ATOTO A6PF, S8MS & S8 Lite - AM/FM adapter included$29

4. The factory amplifier switches on through pin 9 of the 10-pin connector - we recommend RCA connections to feed it. Email us and we will include the right hookup with your order.
