24-pin Subaru Harman Kardon and/or Toyota JBL Amp Turn-On Adapter

This is the amp turn-on half of our Harman Kardon / JBL amplifier adapter set. The factory amplifier has two connectors: a 30-pin connector carrying the speaker signals, and this 24-pin connector, which carries a +12V ignition-switched wire.

The 30-pin AHH-7881 jumper gives you the speaker signals, but it does not include an amp turn-on or +12V ignition wire. If your aftermarket amplifier or powered subwoofer needs a remote turn-on lead, you need this 24-pin adapter as well.

These factory systems do not provide a true amp turn-on output, so the ignition-switched wire broken out here is what installers use for remote turn-on.

Do I need both? If you only need speaker signals and your amp switches itself on by signal sensing, the AHH-7881 alone is enough. If your amp needs a remote turn-on wire, order both.

What's included:

One plug-and-play 24-pin jumper harness for the factory Harman Kardon / JBL amplifier, with the +12V ignition-switched turn-on wire broken out as a labeled flying lead.

Installation:

Unplug the 24-pin connector from the factory amplifier, plug this adapter in between the factory harness and the amplifier, and connect your amplifier's remote turn-on lead to the broken-out +12V ignition-switched wire. No cutting of the factory harness is required.

Fits vehicles with the factory Subaru Harman Kardon or Toyota / Lexus JBL amplified audio system. Non-Harman Kardon and non-JBL vehicles do not have this 24-pin amplifier connector.
