Retains the factory backup camera on 2010-2012 Subaru Legacy and Outback models with the factory DVD navigation radio (flip-up screen, MAP and DEST buttons).

These cars route the camera differently from every other Legacy and Outback of the era: there is a separate camera connector plus another connector carrying the reverse-gear signal. This adapter picks up both and hands your new head unit a standard camera video input and a reverse trigger.

This is not the same part as our non-navigation camera adapter (AHH-4281), which only fits cars where the camera displays on a non-navigation factory radio. If your Legacy or Outback has the flip-up navigation screen, this is the one you need.
