What this harness is for

This adapter harness lets you transplant a Fujitsu Ten navigation unit into a 2011-2015 Subaru that left the factory with a non-navigation radio. It connects to the 20-pin and 16-pin connectors on your car's factory wiring and provides the electrical connections the navigation unit needs.

Installation is plug and play. Depending on the model, you may need to wire in the VSS or reverse signals - reverse is not needed unless you are connecting a backup camera to the navigation unit.

What is retained

• Speaker and factory amplifier connections
• Auxiliary audio connections (USB is a separate harness - see the options above)
• Steering wheel switches
• Bluetooth microphone

VSS (vehicle speed sensor), reverse and e-brake inputs are passed through to the Fujitsu Ten unit where they exist on your car's radio harness. Where they are not factory-wired to the connector, we provide wires you can connect yourself.

The "Check Audio System" notice on the MFD

Fujitsu Ten navigation units cannot communicate with the multi-function display. With the transplant harness installed, the MFD will show a "Check Audio System" notice. This is expected and does not indicate a fault with the harness or the radio.

• Your Subaru is a 2011-2015 model year

Every transplant harness is hand-assembled to order. Most ship within 10 days, though it can take up to 18 days. You will receive tracking as soon as yours ships. If you need it sooner, contact us about expediting assembly.

GPS antenna

We do not supply GPS antennas. If you intend to use the navigation functionality you will need one - they are readily available online.

USB adapter

The USB adapter is not needed for the CV629UM and CF625UM head units - the existing connector fits those directly.

XM radio

The XM option adds both the adapter, which allows a standard XM antenna to connect to the Fujitsu Ten unit, and the antenna itself.
