Upgrade your Chevy or GMC with a Sony head unit using this plug-and-play harness. Pre-wired with a Sony connector on one end and the OEM Chevy/GM plug on the other, it makes installation straightforward and reliable.

This harness does not directly support premium audio systems such as Bose, Infinity, or On-Star. However, you can still install it in a Bose-equipped vehicle by bypassing the factory amplifier. Click here for a video walkthrough on the bypass method.

What's included:

• Pioneer Direct Wire Adapter, AM/FM radio adapter, and 12V power lead (for vehicles that do not have a +12V supply in the OEM radio wiring)
• Steering Wheel Control wires are provided to the OEM connector (This signal is unique - the signal is not provided on most aftermarket install harnesses) Multiple wires are provided for this and some of them will not be used on all vehicles.
• Reverse, Vehicle Speed, and E-brake signals are provided from the Pioneer connector since this will need to be connected elsewhere on the vehicle.
• +12v switched (Red) and Ground (Black) connections are provided for wiring of a steering wheel control interface or other +12v devices.
• Amp Turn-on signal is provided for connecting a Parking Brake Bypass module

Installation:

1) Just connect both ends (to the Sony and to the Vehicle)
2) Connect the Vehicle Speed signla (Reverse is needed only if you will be connecting a backup camera)
