Item Number: AHH-ESC-AXDIS

Axxess AXDIS-CL2 interface for the custom 2003-2006 Cadillac Escalade Bose adapter

Custom adapter with the Axxess AXDIS-CL2 interface for a new head unit in a 2003, 2004, 2005 or 2006 Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV or Escalade EXT with the factory Bose amplifier.

Why a plain adapter is not enough: these trucks have the digital Bose amplifier. The factory radio turns the amplifier on and controls it with data on the GM Class II bus - there is no amp turn-on wire. With a plain wiring adapter the amplifier stays off and you get no sound. The AXDIS-CL2 sends those data commands, so the Bose amplifier and speakers keep working with your new head unit.

What it keeps:
-The factory Bose amplifier and speakers
-The warning chimes
-OnStar (if equipped)
-The steering wheel audio buttons, through the interface's own steering wheel output - no separate AXSWC steering wheel interface is needed

What you lose: balance and fade are not available with the digital Bose amplifier.

Plug and play, built to order: it plugs into the factory radio connector, and we wire it to the plug of the head unit you are installing. Enter the brand and exact model number of your head unit when you order so we can build it to match.

The dash kit and AM/FM antenna adapter for these trucks are listed in our vehicle finder.

Installation:

Remove the factory radio, then plug the adapter into the factory radio connector and into your new head unit.
