Add the factory volume knob when you upgrade your 2023+ Toyota Tundra or Sequoia from the standard 8-inch screen to the 14-inch head unit! Trucks built with the 8-inch radio do not have the physical volume/tuning knob, and the factory wiring has no place to plug one in. This adapter harness adds the missing 8-pin volume knob connection so the OEM knob assembly works with your new 14-inch large screen radio.

The harness connects behind the head unit and is 100% plug and play - no splicing, no cutting, and no changes to your truck's wiring. Two connectors plug into the truck's existing 30-pin and 28-pin harness, two plug into the new 14-inch head unit, and the 8-pin lead plugs into the volume knob module that mounts in the dash. The 30-pin and 28-pin jumpers are built into this adapter, so you do not need to purchase those separately.

Compatibility:

-2023 and newer Toyota Tundra (8-inch to 14-inch OEM screen retrofit)
-2023 and newer Toyota Sequoia (same head unit connections)
-Works with both JBL and non-JBL systems. Important: your replacement 14-inch head unit must match the audio system your truck came with - JBL to JBL, or non-JBL to non-JBL. You cannot cross between the two. (An example non-JBL 14-inch Tundra unit is Toyota part number 86100-0C362.)
-2024+ Tacoma and 2025+ 4Runner: Toyota's wiring diagrams show similar head unit connections. Email us with your model year and head unit part number and we will confirm fitment before you order.

Not included: the OEM 14-inch head unit and the OEM volume knob/switch assembly. These can be sourced from a donor truck, a Toyota parts counter, or an online OEM parts seller.

Installation:

Remove the factory radio, connect the adapter between the truck's wiring and the new 14-inch head unit, then plug the 8-pin lead into the volume knob module mounted in the dash.
